These totem poles are my celebration of life. Forms from the microscopic to the epic they represent the diversity of life around us from which I take inspiration. Creatures from the five kingdoms of life, monera, protista, plant, fungus and animal are all represented. Mitochondria, marine ecosystems like the barrier reef, boab trees from central Africa, choko vines, Banksia pods from Australia take symbolic shapes and stack, skyward, since I cant sing to express my joy of living these poles silently do it for me.
